Billy Joel:  That’s a fair question.

SC: We’ll go 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.  Here we go.

BJ: I actually think about that when I’m onstage.  What would I like to see me do.  I tend to like the album tracks, not the hit singles.

SC: Okay.  Whaddya got?

BJ: Uh, I’d say “Vienna.”

SC: (sings to himself)  “Vienna waits for you.”  Great song.  I think that’s my favorite song of yours.

BJ: You ask to give the audience a choice:  “Do you want ‘Vienna’ or do you want ‘Just the Way You Are’?”, they pick “Vienna.”

SC: That’s number 5.  Number 4?

BJ: Um, let’s see.  “And So It Goes.”

SC: “And So It Goes.”  Got it.

BJ: Uhhhhhhh, “You May Right.”

SC: Number 2?

BJ: There’s an obscure song called “She’s Right on Time.”

SC: And can I have a drum roll please?  Billy Joel’s #1 Billy Joel song is…

BJ: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant.”
