Sting…on tantric sex

Remember Sting and his comments about his seven hour sessions of tantric sex with his wife?  The topic has dogged him ever since.  

Back in 2011, Sting’s wife, Trudie Styler, dismissed his claim about their love life as just a drunken boast.  Sting and Bob Geldof were being interviewed by a rock journalist, and the interview turned into a drinking session.

But in 2014, during an appearance on Inside The Actor's Studio, host James Lipton brought up the topic and asked Sting to explain what he truly was referring to.

“If we had seven hours, I would demonstrate,” Sting responded.  But then he went on to clarify.  

“The idea of tantric sex is a spiritual act.  I don't know any purer and better way of expressing a love for another individual than sharing that wonderful, I call it, ‘sacrament.’  I would stand by it.  Not seven hours, but the idea.”

He then explained, “Seven hours includes movie and dinner.”
